Indianapolis 500 2025 qualifying is scheduled for Saturday and Sunday on the 2.5-mile Indianapolis Motor Speedway oval. Positions 13-30 for the May 25 race will be established Saturday, while positions 1-12 and 31-33 will be determined Sunday.

It is here that we should note that cars qualify for the Indianapolis 500, not drivers. That means that if a particular driver is injured ahead of the race itself, someone else can slide into their car, even if they did not qualify themselves in another car.
