Montreal Canadiens forward Emil Heineman will be sidelined for three to four weeks after he was involved in a pedestrian accident Monday night in Utah.

Montreal Canadiens player Emil Heineman is expected to miss three-to-four weeks after being hit by a car while walking in downtown Salt Lake City a day before playing at the Utah Hockey Club.

Heineman was hit by a car traveling at a low speed as he crossed a street by himself not far from the team hotel shortly after the Canadiens returned from practice Monday afternoon. As lucky as Heineman was to avoid serious injury, he is still expected to miss three to four weeks with an upper-body injury.
