The Dallas Stars have hired Glen Gulutzan as their head coach 12 years after he was fired from his first stint with them.

The Stars reintroduced Glen Gulutzan as their coach, with he and the franchise both in much different places than a dozen years ago.

But, even if the general manager and coach hit on all the right points Wednesday, you’d think the new/old guy ought to at least pick up where DeBoer left off, and soon, or Gulutzan’s latest tour of Dallas won’t last much longer than the first.
