LAKE CHARLES, La. (KPLC) - Typical summer heat and storms will be back over the weekend. We’ll be back to the low/mid 90’s for highs this weekend with another chance for isolated-to-scattered storms. Not everyone will get rain, but keep an eye on the sky in the late-morning and afternoon as some storms may begin to pop-up.

High pressure will be in control of our weather for Saturday, which means dry weather, a lot of sunshine and temperatures warming into the upper 80s to near 90 degrees away from the Lake Ontario shoreline.
