The College World Series begins Friday, with eight teams competing to decide who will earn the right to play for the championship.

But in nearly 80 years of the men's College World Series, no pitcher has ever thrown a perfect game in Omaha. In fact, no pitcher has even gotten through six perfect innings since way back in 1999.
