New dates added for Cheyenne Mountain Zoo’s Dog Days at the Zoo!
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) - The Cheyenne Mountain Zoo said they’ve added two more dates for Dog Days at the Zoo. Now, visitors can being their own furry friends to the zoo on four different dates. The zoo said they will host Dog Days this Friday, Nov. 27, Dec. 11 and Dec. 27.

Grizzly bears love the snow too!
The Cheyenne Mountain Zoo has two different grizzly bears, Emmitt and Digger. The zoo said Emmitt is 19 years old. Emmitt and Digger were adopted into the zoo in 2007 after being labeled as ‘nuisance bears’ at around two or three years old.
