The Brooklyn Park Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating a missing 79-year-old woman with severe dementia.

A woman who does not speak English and is suffering from memory-related disorders is missing in Brooklyn Park.

Brooklyn Park councilmember Christian Eriksen announced Tuesday he is running for the Minnesota House seat previously held by Speaker Emerita Melissa Hortman.

Maple Grove will experience detours due to BNSF Railroad replacing railroad crossings, affecting 83rd Avenue and Jefferson Highway starting July 14th, with alternate routes provided.

A statement from BPPD said 79-year-old Saleema Bibi walked away from the 6800 block of 63rd Avenue North Friday just before 7 a.m.
