Austin Police are welcoming a new a robotic dog named "Spot" to assist the special operations unit with SWAT situations and finding hazardous materials.

The Austin Police Department said the robot dog, Spot, will be a huge help with maneuvering around tight SWAT situations and investigating hazardous materials.
