Thanks to one new Star Wars character, Andor season 2 may have created an unexpected plot hole when it comes to the events of Rogue One.

In “Rogue One,” Cassian is a tried-and-true rebel, completely committed to the cause. When “Andor” begins, he seemingly couldn’t care less about any sort of organized Rebellion.

Actor Diego Luna returns to play the titular role, and serves as an executive producer on the series along with showrunner Tony Gilroy, who also co-wrote the script for Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.

Andor takes place before Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. If you saw Rogue One, you probably already knew that because, uh, Cassian Andor dies at the end of that film along with the entire cast.

Set to premiere on Disney+ in 2022, Andor will follow the adventures of Luna’s Rogue One character and be set in the early days of the Rebellion, before the events of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.
