“Abbott Elementary” star and creator, Quinta Brunson, and “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia” star and co-creator. Rob McElhenney, both shared news they’re collaborating on a crossover episode on social media.

Ahead of its return on October 9, it has been revealed that Abbott Elementary Season 4 will be featuring a crossover episode with long-time FX comedy It’s Always Sunny in the Philadelphia. This crossover was actually first teased by the cast of the acclaimed ABC sitcom,

We’re also wondering if the Abbott cast will return the favor when It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia ’s 17th season starts filming. (I can totally see Lisa Ann Walter’s Melissa Schemmenti in that world, and it would be hilarious to see them involved in some NSFW antics outside of the elementary school.)
