Blake Shapen was not sharp in Mississippi State football's loss to No. 15 Tennessee.

The No. 15 Vols overcame numerous early miscues, faltered again in the second half and still defeated underdog Mississippi State 41-34 in overtime at Davis Wade Stadium on Sept. 27.
