Police found four dogs running loose just a few hundred feet from Interstate 78. A fifth dog was tied to a No Parking sign.

Police recover three of the dogs. Two others ran off and were struck and killed by vehicles on the interstate.

A revised law around sheep worrying comes into force today, and dog owners could face unlimited fines if they are convicted. The change also means police will be able to seize and detain dogs.

The all-breed dog show event is set for March 19–22 at the South Florida Fairgrounds’ Shiner Law Group Expo East.
