Boston's end-of-game execution is still a question mark, but the Jays hit two late-game shots to help beat the shorthanded Pelicans.

Jaylen Brown scored 28 points and Jayson Tatum added 27, including a tiebreaking jumper with 0.2 seconds left, as the visiting Boston Celtics held off the New Orleans Pelicans 118-116 on Friday night.

The Celtics needed nearly all of regulation, but they finally put away the Pelicans in a narrow win in New Orleans. It was Jayson Tatum stepping up at the end as his jumper with 0.2 seconds left put the C’s ahead for good 118-116 over the Pelicans.
