Lawyers representing a group of women who claim they were sexually assaulted by Mohamed Al-Fayed revealed details of the alleged abuse at a press conference in London on Friday, Sept. 20

LONDON (AP) — Lawyers representing dozens of women who say they were raped and sexually abused by Mohamed Al Fayed, the former boss of the famous London department store Harrods, said the case was akin to the crimes of sex offenders Jimmy Savile, Jeffrey Epstein and Harvey Weinstein.

Five women said Al Fayed, who died in 2023 at age 94, had raped them, while others detailed alarming accounts of sexual assault and harassment while they were working at Harrods.
