FOX 5 Atlanta is tracking snow across metro Atlanta and North Georgia, its effects, and how areas are responding to it.

The state’s best chance for snow comes overnight Saturday into Sunday afternoon along a diagonal line from Columbus to Macon to Warrenton, the National Weather Service says.

Snow fell across a wide stretch of central Georgia on Sunday, including in cities like Columbus, Macon, Milledgeville, Thomaston, Jackson, Eatonton and Greensboro.
