Kevin Durant is facing an uncertain future in Phoenix as the Suns continue to fade from playoff contention, but the team is reportedly considering a major change that might help convince the 15-time All-Star to stay.

Even though Durant has played superb individual basketball for the Suns this year, averaging 26.7 points, 6.1 rebounds, and 4.3 assists per game on 52.8% shooting from the floor, it hasn't resulted in many wins for Phoenix. Heading into this game against L.A., Phoenix's record was 31-36, good for only 11th place in the Western Conference.
