Israel was hit with another round of terrorist attacks as Hezbollah fired rockets into a northern border town, killing two, and knife-wielding moped driver attacked in Hadera, putting eight in the hospital.

Two civilians have been killed and several others wounded after the Lebanese armed group Hezbollah fired at least 150 rockets into northern Israel. Paramedics said a man and a woman in their 40s were fatally wounded by shrapnel in the border town of Kiryat Shmona.

Hezbollah rockets hit Israel's third-largest city of Haifa early on Monday, in the first direct attack on the northern city that evaded the military's usually reliable air defence systems.
