The fire, which broke out around 6 p.m., prompted immediate evacuations and temporarily closed part of the interstate. Fortunately, no injuries or major property damage have been reported.

The fire broke out around 6 p.m. at the Riverside RV Resort in South Weber. According to the South Weber Fire Chief, the fire started after a flat tire occurred on I-84.

The left eastbound lane reopened around 10:15 a.m. on Wednesday, with the right lane remaining closed as of 11:46 a.m. The fire is near mile marker 15, which is west of Caldwell.
