Honda Performance Development (HPD) has a new name and, likely, new responsibilities. The rebranding is intended to help unite Honda’s motorsports globally under one Honda Racing brand.

Its North American racing programs — including IndyCar and IMSA — have been organized under the Honda Performance Development (HPD) banner with a U.S. base located in Santa Clarita, California.
