After the brand had filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in September, a total of 219 Big Lots locations were acquired by Variety Wholesalers through a deal with Gordon Brothers Retail

After opening more than 130 locations in May, Big Lots is set to open more than 70 stores across the U.S. on June 5.
