Worthy has not talked about the weekend legal drama, but did share a pair of social-media posts on Sunday. First was a simple message on X: two prayer hands emojis. Later on Sunday morning, Worthy posted a photo to his Instagram stories with a two-word message: “New beginnings.” Worthy had a new hairstyle in the photo.

Worthy was arrested Friday, a month after the conclusion of his rookie season with the Kansas City Chiefs, and booked into jail on suspicion of assault of a family member by impeding breathing/circulation, a third-degree felony.
