Ohio State, the first team to run the gauntlet of four playoff games on its way to the national title, celebrated with 30,000 Buckeyes fans on Sunday at Ohio Stadium.

Hundreds of jovial fans and students gathered around campus after Ohio State’s 34-23 victory over Notre Dame on Monday night flocked to Ohio Stadium and broke through a gate to continue the celebration inside “The Shoe,” despite the temperature in Columbus reaching as low as -5 F.

Crowds started making their way through campus and headed to Ohio Stadium shortly after the Buckeyes' win over Notre Dame.

The two were among tens of thousands of Ohio State fans who flooded the stadium Sunday to celebrate the Buckeyes' most recent national title and their second earned as part of the College Football Playoff. The Buckeyes won the first ever four-team playoff a decade ago and have now also won the first 12-team playoff.
