Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Xavier Worthy will not face charges in alleged assault case, according to the Austin American-Statesman.

Xavier Worthy was released after a district attorney in Texas declined to pursue charges against the Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver following an arrest in which he had been accused of felony domestic violence.

Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Xavier Worthy was arrested on a domestic assault charge on Friday, police said. According to a jail record from the Williamson County Sheriff's Office, Worthy, 21, was arrested in Georgetown, Texas.
