Former Wisconsin Badgers star and three-time Defensive Player of the Year J.J. Watt sent a stern warning to the Cowboys and the Bengals alike on how to handle the extension-eligible superstars on their respective rosters as free agency nears its launch.

The Cowboys restructured the contract of wide receiver CeeDee Lamb, on Tuesday, creating $20 million in salary cap space, two people with knowledge of the move told The Dallas Morning News. Lamb was scheduled to earn a base salary of $26.

The Dallas Cowboys need another WR to play across from CeeDee Lamb and they met with an elite prospect at the NFL Combine.
