After falling on Monday night to the Philadelphia Flyers, Florida dug deep and earned a gutsy 2-1 shootout win over the Devils, thanks in large part to a great game between the pipes by Spencer Knight.

With a 2-1 shootout win at New Jersey on Tuesday, the Panthers improved to 4-0 in shootouts and moved into a tie with the Columbus Blue Jackets for the most shootout wins in the NHL in 2024-25. As it has been in each of their other shootouts, both the shooters and goalie got it done.

Anton Lundell scored the shootout winner and Spencer Knight made 26 saves as the Florida Panthers downed the New Jersey Devils 2-1 on Tuesday night.

The New Jersey Devils lost 2-1 in a shootout to the Florida Panthers on Tuesday night at The Rock. The Devils played a solid game, limiting chances, particularly in the first and second periods, but had a few missed offensive opportunities that sent the game to overtime and then a shootout.

Spencer Knight made 34 saves for his second shutout of the season and the Florida Panthers beat the Anaheim Ducks 3-0 on Saturday night to open a home-and-home set.

The Panthers find themselves in a bit of a funk as they enter their latest back-to-back set of road games. After dropping a frustrating matchup Monday in Philly in which Florida led 2-0 early and held two third period leads, they must now try to bounce back against one of the top teams in the Eastern Conference, the New Jersey Devils.

Tensions boiled over Tuesday night at Prudential Center as the Florida Panthers defeated the New Jersey Devils 2-1 in a shootout.

There was a brick wall in the crease on Saturday at Amerant Bank Arena, his name is Spencer Knight.  Knight backstopped the Florida Panthers to a 3-0 win over the Anaheim Ducks as he tied his career-high with two shutouts on the season.
