The Minnesota Vikings added a seventh Pro Bowler to their 2024 roster in a development that ended a long drought for the franchise. Originally an alternate, right tackle Brian O'Neill was named to the Pro Bowl on Jan. 27, replacing Philadelphia Eagles tackle Lane Johnson, per an NFL announcement on Monday.
This will be the 29-year-old Pittsburgh product's second Pro Bowl appearance after also earning the nod in 2021.

According to the Minnesota Star Tribune, Vikings cornerback Stephon Gilmore said after the season that he is considering retirement after 14 seasons in the NFL, citing that his body is "feeling it" more than normal at the end of a season.
He's earned five Pro Bowl mentions, two All-Pro honors and Defensive Player of the Year for the 2019 season. Gilmore won a Super Bowl with the New England Patriots in 2019.
