Sony Creative Software is to continue development of its Catalyst Browse and Catalyst Production Suite tools, despite selling the rest of its product range to Germany’s Magix Software.

Not included in the sale is Sony’s recently-released Catalyst software, which is designed for seamless post-production of 4K video in Sony RAW formats.
