It feels more fall-like across the region today! You’ve likely noticed the change when you stepped outside this morning. A recent cold front has ushered in the cooler weather and the setup will keep things cooler through Monday before warmth builds back by midweek.

Thousands were without power and some area roadways were closed after a potent line of storms moved through the South Plains. More storms are expected.

On Monday, September 15, Lone Star Dirt & Paving Ltd., who are under contract for the City of Lubbock, will begin pavement repairs in south Lubbock.
