Shelby County Health Department has approved a permit for xAI's 15 natural gas turbines at the Paul R. Lowry Road site in Memphis.

xAI's second facility, called Colossus 2, is located at 5420 Tulane Road and is still under construction. The company's first facility, located at 3231 Paul R. Lowry Road, has been active since 2024.
