Michigan’s football program snapped a two-month long commitment drought by picking up a pair of verbal pledges on April 26, including top-100 quarterback Brady Smigiel. But the recruiting momentum the Wolverines gained by landing Smigiel and three-star edge rusher Tariq Boney quickly waned.

Michigan Wolverines head coach Sherrone Moore is heading into his second season leading the program after taking over for Jim Harbaugh, who departed following the team’s national championship run two seasons ago.
