Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan left a hospital in India’s financial capital Mumbai on Tuesday, less than a week after he suffered knife injuries in a scuffle with an intruder at his house, local media reported.

Saif Ali Khan met Bhajan Singh Rana, the auto-rickshaw driver who helped him reach the hospital after he was injured in a knife attack at his Mumbai home. Saif thanked him, gave him money, and introduced him to his mother.

After the incident, Saif Ali Khan was swiftly taken to Lilavati Hospital in an auto-rickshaw for urgent care. Now recovered and discharged, he made sure to meet and thank the driver, expressing his gratitude with a warm hug before heading home.

The randomness of the attack on Saif Ali Khan's household was highlighted by the suspect's alleged confession to the police that he had attempted to break into another flat in the same building before entering the actor's residence on the 11th floor.
