Eberechi Eze stars for Crystal Palace against his former club Queen's Park Rangers in the third round of the Carabao Cup.

While QPR remain unbeaten in their last six matches, they have been plagued by a series of draws, notching up four stalemates during this period. Defensive frailties have been evident, as they have yet to secure a clean sheet across all competitions this season.

Palace boss Glasner stuck with his trusted 3-4-2-1 formation, recalling Chris Richards on the left side of the back three, with summer signing Daichi Kamada playing in midfield alongside Jefferson Lerma. Eddie Nketiah continued in a deeper ‘number 10’ role, and though not a familiar role, the former Arsenal striker looked sharp.
