A woman was killed and two others were injured in a shooting at a Gentilly Woods home early Friday morning, New Orleans police said. Police were called to a report of a shooting at about 3:51 a.m. Officers were flagged down after they arrived and located an adult man who had been shot outside the home.

Mt. Juliet police say two men are dead after one fired at officers during an overnight standoff at Cedar Creek Marina. Officers initially responded to reports of a man threatening others on the dock of the marina on Saundersville Road at approximately 9:30 p.m., Jan. 30, police said.

The Bartlett Police Department said they responded to the 5500 block of County Farm Road Friday for a report of an unresponsive person. When they arrived, they found a body behind one of the businesses in the area.
