Curry's lackluster performance could be attributed to having a right thumb split. While the Warriors were traveling from San Francisco to Houston, Curry was seen without his splint, and it appears as if his injured right thumb has swollen up pretty severely.

The two-time NBA MVP has been playing through a right thumb injury he sustained in the Warriors’ second-to-last game of the season on April 11. Curry hasn’t missed any games since, but after a photo surfaced on social media Tuesday, fans grew concerned.

But Curry, after making 12-of-23 shots in the Warriors' Game 3 win over Houston, for 36 points, warmed up on the Chase Center floor before Game 4 and simply could not miss. The league's X account posted, "54 SECONDS OF STEPH JUMPERS. NO CUTS. NO MISSES."
