Say what you want about Joe Milton III, but you have to give him credit for being transparent. The former Patriots quarterback, who was traded to the Cowboys last offseason, made the media rounds this week ahead of Super Bowl LX.
Milton police are asking for the public’s help in locat Nathan Smith, who may be disoriented and in need of assistance. Smith is described as 5′9, has brown eyes, and short black hair. He was last seen in the area around Baldwin Drive and Mayfield Road in Milton.
Joe Milton isn’t having any Super Bowl-sized regrets. The ex-Patriots backup explained that he felt “disrespected” by the organization, led by then-coach Jerod Mayo, over how it handled his status on the depth chart during the 2024 season.
“It comes with work ethic,” said Milton coach Nick Bligh. “When we’re moving our feet, moving downhill, and we’re forechecking hard the way we should, we’re tough to break out against. We did a good job of that tonight. Every line had a good, solid F3 staying over the top, and then the F1 just being a dog. I thought we were really good at it.”
The disrespect Joe Milton III felt from the Patriots wasn’t a sudden realization. It was a slow burn that began with one glaring issue identified in a post-rookie season meeting with his agency.
The Milton Police Department on Tuesday reported activity in the Mayfield Park area and said it was part of an "active police matter" but not a threat to the public.
