Microsoft’s Xbox content and its services achieved a revenue growth of 8%. Search and News Advertising earnings increased by 21%, excluding traffic acquisition costs. The tech giant returned $49.7 billion to its investors through share repurchases and dividends in the Q3 of fiscal year 2025.

Microsoft’s gaming revenue was up 5% year over year for the January-March quarter. The tech company’s gaming-specific sales reached $5.7 billion for the three-month period, up $270 million from the comparable year-ago figures.
