Iran ’s President Masoud Pezeshkian said Thursday that failing to fix the livelihoods of his people would lead officials to hell, according to The Jerusalem Post. TEHRAN — Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian on Tuesday said his country’s answer to an attack would be harsh, which appeared to be in response to a warning by President Trump over reconstruction of Iran’s nuclear program.
Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian said Wednesday Teheran was in a "full-scale war" with its enemies as it tackles an economic crisis which has sparked mass protests in the country.
"In my opinion, we are in a full-scale war with America, Israel, and Europe; they do not want our country to stand on its feet," Pezeshkian said in a lengthy interview posted to the official website of Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei on Saturday.
Iran will pay £5 a month to 80 million citizens in an effort to quell widespread protests. Authorities launched the “economic relief” plan on Sunday, pledging to transfer the cash in voucher form to nearly the entire population over the course of four months.
