ATLANTA — A balky right ankle for Tommy Edman opened the door for Hyeseong Kim’s first taste of the big leagues, as the Los Angeles Dodgers called up the Korean utility man Saturday to replace Edman on the active roster.

The Los Angeles Dodgers have recalled South Korean All-Star Hyeseong Kim and placed second baseman Tommy Edman on the injured list.
