Liverpool forward Diogo Jota died from a single-car crash in Spain that also killed his brother, Andre Silva, the English Premier League soccer franchise and local officials announced Thursday. He was 28.

A skillful forward, Jota was sought by a number of top European teams when he moved from England's Wolverhampton Wanderers to Liverpool for a total fee of $61.5 million in 2020.
