Texans safety Jimmie Ward is out of a jail, a day after being arrested on a warrant related to a previous felony offense.

Ward originally signed a two-year, $13 million contract with the Texans in 2023. He previously played his first nine NFL seasons with the San Francisco 49ers and reunited with coach DeMeco Ryans, who served as San Francisco's defensive coordinator when Ward played for the 49ers.

Texans safety Jimmie Ward was arrested Thursday on a felony warrant, according to the Montgomery County Jail records. This was second arrest in two months for the 34-year-old Ward.
