Police are looking for a man accused of stealing a car parked outside a Gardner hospital Monday afternoon, while a child was still inside it. Officers responded Monday afternoon to reports of a car stolen from Heywood Hospital with a child inside.

A parked car with a child inside was stolen from a lot at Heywood Hospital in Gardner. Minutes later, the car thief ordered the young passenger out of the vehicle, unharmed, according to state police. The incident occurred the afternoon of Monday, Aug. 18.
