Bill Murray has reminisced on working with Gene Hackman following the shocking news of the actor’s death. The American movie star, 95, was discovered dead along with his wife, Betsy Arakawa, 65, and a pet dog earlier this week.

He admitted that the late actor was "a little irritable" during filming but ultimately came around to director Wes Anderson and the movie.

You're going to get a good movie," the comedian said of the experience. He did remember, though, that Hackman was "a little irritable" during production since he was a veteran actor at that point.

Murray remembered wincing as he witnessed the scene, thinking to himself, "Oh, God. ... No wonder this guy wants to throttle people."
