Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow casting is heating up again, with Jason Momoa joining the DCU production as his dream character.

Cinematic continuity be damned, Jason Momoa is putting the fish gills down for tattoos and violence. According to reports from Deadline, the man known around the world as Aquaman formally announced his return to the DC universe as the invulnerable Lobo in Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow.

Jason Momoa has officially been cast as Lobo! He has taken to his Instagram to confirm the casting by posting a quote from himself and saying he received the call.

Before stepping in Lobo's shoes, Jason Momoa played Aquaman in two standalone movies as well as Justice League. The actor's first outing as Arthur Curry was a huge success for DC, and stands as the most successful movie from the Snyderverse. It's also the only movie from that era to cross $1 billion at the global box.
