Stephen Colbert came to Frenchmen Street to announce that he has selected New Orleans born musician Jon Batiste to be his bandleader when he takes the reigns as host of the Late Show on September 8.

Jon Batiste, who performed at Super Bowl 59 and has a history with ProMusica Chamber Orchestra, will perform in Columbus on Oct. 22. Tickets for the Mershon Auditorium performance go on sale May 20.
