State officials recently added tens of thousands of acres to wildfire hazard zones in and around Ventura County cities.

Cal Fire's new hazard zone maps show information on topography, fire weather, flame length, past fire history, vegetation type and the overall likelihood of a wildfire igniting in the area.

An evacuation map from Ventura County Sheriff Emergency Services is available below. If you live in a wildfire-prone zone, Cal Fire suggests creating a defensible space around your home.
