Phase one of a reconstruction project began Tuesday, aiming to restore the Muskegon South Breakwater Lighthouse.
"The bills, they come every day. Somebody closing the road to you is a problem, you know?" said one business owner.
The grant was awarded through the Airport Improvement Project and will be used to support the final phase and reconstruction of Runway 18/36 at the airport.
