Funeral details have been announced for the North Olmsted police officer who died Dec. 17 from a medical emergency

Funeral services are being held Monday for Delaware State Police Corporal Matthew “Ty" Snook, the trooper killed in the line of duty at a Wilmington DMV last month, with officials urging the public to plan ahead if attending or to watch from afar due to expected traffic disruptions.

Delaware State Police Cpl. Matthew "Ty" Snook will be laid to rest on Monday, nearly two weeks after he was shot and killed inside the Wilmington DMV.

MINQUADALE, Del. (WPVI) -- Funeral arrangements have been set for Delaware State Police Corporal Matthew "Ty" Snook. Services will be held on Monday, January 5. Public visitation will begin at 9 a.m. at the University of Delaware Bob Carpenter Center in Newark. That will be followed by a law enforcement pass and review at 12:45 p.m.
