Iowa State football adds veteran offensive lineman Jake Taylor from the Oklahoma Sooners, strengthening the Cyclones’ line through the portal.

Running back Carson Hansen is one of the headliners in Penn State’s 2026 transfer class. A second-team All-Big 12 choice at Iowa State in 2025, Hansen left the Cyclones to become part of Matt Campbell’s first Penn State team. Prior to 2026, Campbell had sent 10 seasons as the ISU leader.

Three special teams coaches were announced Monday. Rob Grande, a member of Iowa State's staff since 2020, will stay at Iowa State. He has been an analyst for the Cyclones since 2020, first working with the offense before transitioning in 2023 to work with the ISU special teams units.
