Tropical Storm Bertha formed on July 20 as it moved toward the Gulf Coast, where forecasters say it could bring flash flooding to multiple states.

Tropical Storm Bertha formed in the Gulf of Mexico on Monday evening and forecasters warned that the system was likely to bring heavy rain to states throughout the region this week.

By late Wednesday or early Thursday, Bertha is likely to make landfall in Southeast Louisiana, south of New Orleans.
