ALTADENA, Calif. -- A woman hiking at Eaton Canyon in California was being rescued after she slipped and fell near a waterfall and impaled herself with a pencil Monday afternoon.

After an 11-week closure, Monrovia Canyon Park reopened on Tuesday but visitors will need to abide by some changes in order to hit the trails.
